Based upon a Master Improvement Plan prepared by Martin Design Partnership, Ltd. Ridge Country Club has undergone a major renovation.  Bunkers, tees, fairways and tree removals were addressed over three phases.

 

This renovation intends to highlight the simple beauty of Ridge Country Club, its heritage and history.  Using traditional treatments with a modern flair, the renovated bunkers will give Ridge a classic feel with a modern appeal and updated challenge.   Using ‘low-profile’ treatments, the bunkers will strengthen the course challenge and strategy, without brutalizing the less-able golfer.  Maintenance practices where reviewed to ensure no significant costs will be added over the long term.  The improvements have been widely praised and the beauty of this facility has been highlighted.
